By booking training with Chris Augustine Dog Training, you agree to the following terms, which exist for the safety and benefit of all participants and their dogs:
If anyone in your household has COVID-19 or shows symptoms, please inform us and do not attend the training sessions.
While face masks are no longer mandatory, you’re welcome to wear one if you feel more comfortable.
Chris Augustine Dog Training accepts no responsibility for any injury, loss, or damage to persons, dogs, or property during training sessions.
Please bring all necessary equipment. If rainy, ensure you have appropriate wet-weather clothing.
When you book, we may add you to our mailing list to share all relevant information. If you’d like to unsubscribe at any time, just email me at [email protected].
Ideally, puppies should have had two vaccinations before joining a class. Puppies with only one vaccination may attend, provided you and your vet are comfortable, and the puppy is carried from the car park.
Please make sure your dog has relieved itself before entering the class.
If your dog uses the toilet before or during class, you must clean up and dispose of waste in a suitable bin.
Dogs must be kept under control and close to you at all times.
On arrival at the venue, please find a “training station” (chair with a cone).
Dogs should remain on lead on the training premises unless instructed otherwise during training.
Be considerate toward other participants and dogs; do not bring an unwell dog to class. If you cannot attend, please let us know - even without your dog - because much of the learning can still be done.
Your dog must be free of any infectious disease that could be passed onto other dogs.
Dogs in season should not be brought to class. If you have an unspayed female, we recommend scheduling classes around her season. Refunds cannot be given if a dog comes into season.
Children under 18 are welcome but must be supervised by an adult at all times.
If you or your dog are unwell/poorly, please do not attend.
We reserve the right to remove you (and your dog) from class - without refund - if we feel the dog’s behaviour is poorly managed or is disrupting the class.
Harsh handling is strongly discouraged. If it continues after a warning, you (and your dog) will be asked to leave without refund.
The owner is fully responsible for their dog and any other attendees they bring.
If your dog has aggression or fear-related issues, please contact us before enrolling; such dogs may require a one-to-one session instead of a group class.
No refunds are available after the course has started. Refunds one week before the start are only considered in exceptional circumstances (at our discretion).
It is not possible to transfer payment to alternative courses or workshops if you cannot attend.
We will avoid rescheduling classes whenever possible. However, if a class must be rearranged (due to extreme weather, illness, etc.), we will offer a replacement date — but you will not be eligible for a refund if you cannot make the new date.
If government guidance around COVID-19 changes and in-person sessions become impossible, the remaining classes will be conducted online (e.g. via Zoom).
To confirm your booking you must follow the online booking system and ensure payment is received on the same day - otherwise the booking will be cancelled.
For one-to-one sessions, payment in full must be made on the booking day. Bookings are only confirmed once payment is received.
Any rearrangements must be requested in writing (email or text) and will be subject to the following:
More than 7 days’ notice → no charge
Between 48 hours and 7 days’ notice → 50% of the session fee is charged
Less than 48 hours’ notice, or failure to attend → full fee is payable
Sessions can be rescheduled up to a maximum of three times; after that, payment will be forfeited.
No refunds will be issued.
Chris Augustine Dog Training reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions from time to time as needed.

Had a couple of private sessions with Chris; definite improvements. Conveniently tailored advice and attention to details. Good for those looking for specific solutions.
